Jayd Raines was exposed to the wonderful sounds of
bluegrass music at a very early age. Living in the
mountains of Eastern Kentucky, he was constantly surrounded
by the sounds of the guitar, banjo, and fiddle by
his father, and grandparents. When his Father purchased
Jayd his first guitar at the young age of seven, Jayd
naturally caught the bug. By the time he was twelve,
he had became surprisingly impressive at both rhythm
and lead picking on the guitar.
A few years later his musical curiosity lead him
to develop his talents at other instruments such as
the banjo, mandolin, and bass. Jayds abilities as
a multi-instrumentalist enabled him the opportunity
to have many positions in local bands. Since 2008
Jayd has been a significant part of Marty Raybon and
Full Circle playing the bass parts and singing harmony
vocals.
