CHRIS DAVIS
|
Raised in Fairborn, Ohio, Chris grew up amidst a family
of talented musicians. His grandfather, Elzie Davis,
and his father, Danny, instilled a love for bluegrass
in both Chris and his brother, Wes, at an early age.
With both parents supporting their interest, the family
started performing at local festivals with Chris on
bass. When he was 15 years old, Chris dad gave
him a mandolin and the instrument inspired him to
keep learning.
Chris started his musical career playing with The Bluegrass
Strangers, In May of 2002, he joined the Georgia-based,
up and coming group, Honi Deaton & Dream. This lead
him to play an important role as tenor singer and mandolin
player for Larry Cordle and Lonesome Standard Time.
He now joins Marty Raybon and Full Circle on mandolin
and fiddle, and has established himself as a wonderful
musician and heartfelt vocalist. His exciting stage
presence is a plus for audiences and band mates. With
a humble and outgoing personality, on and off the stage,
Chris quickly becomes a fan favorite at shows.
Chris plays a 2002 Gibson F5G mandolin
